quick question about eircom bb modem

    So I rang eircom today and they told me they have sent the modem as of today, they say I should recieve it friday at the latest and might even get it tomorrow. Not holding my breath on this :(

    Just wondering what router they supply I've signed up for the 3meg package.

    Is it wireless, adsl or usb based. Any help appreaciated.

    If you're on the 3mg product I assume that is an always on product so your modem will be the same as mine, a Netopia 3347 NWG wireless modem. Basically it has 4 ethernet ports for direct connection and wireless capability.

    They do not include the PCMCIA or USB wireless adapters in the package so you will need to order them seperately. eircom sell them at €50 a pop.
