    Aer Arann launches Cork-Nantes service

    May 17, 2006 13:08

Aer Arann has launched a new service from Cork to Nantes in western France.

The new service will operate three days a week - Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The service will be operated by a 66 seater ATR72 aircraft.

This is Aer Arann's fourth new route from Cork for summer 2006 including previously announced services to Cardiff, Newquay and Jersey. The airline also re-started the Cork-Lorient service for a second season.

Earlier this week, Aer Arann said it had agreed to buy 10 new planes from French regional aircraft maker ATR over the next three years in a deal worth $180m.
