    Hi,

I have viewed a couple of apartments in lanesborough but I don't know much about the area so I was wondering if anyone has any general info on it. I've noticed that there are quite a lot of places up for sale there and i'm wondering if thats because there are problems or if its just co-incidence. Does anyone know the place well? Anyone live there?

    Thanks!

it's basically the back of finglas, it's much closer to finglas and ballymun than st mags. it's popular with people moving from abroad, there is some refugee housing out the road over the m50 and there are some traveller camps along the road to ballymun from there. it's not the best of areas, not the worst. all factored into the price....
