Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Okay I recently purchased a SE K750i for my father who is going to Liberia shortly so would like to listen to music/radio etc etc...

He wanted the W800i but as I explained to him they are they same phone fundamentally but with different versions of firmware and a different housing...

If I get the Phone Flashed to the W800i what would the attributes be of this and would it increase or improve, functionality ??

It has better playlist support and stuff for playing music, my K750 does it fine though.
And you can turn off the phone part and use it as just an MP3 player for flying on airplanes and stuff, but I guess if you're on a plane for that long you could listen to the planes music or watch TV.
Other than that, they're both the same really.
I think maybe the W800 has a USB 2.0 cable instead of USB 1... not sure if that works after flashing.

Have a read through this for more:

    I flashed my k750i to w800 .
The music player is nice and I prefer the gui more but apart from that not much difference to be honest between the two, apart from the "flight mode" option on startup.

Flight mode is only on the W800i or on the K750i flashed to W800i
