Damn this song never get's tiring.

Though it would be really cool if every country entered a rock/metal group next year...would definatly make the contest worth watching.

yeah agree, i've been listening to it on average once every 2 days since the euro's and actually liking it more and more. It really is actually a pretty quality song, not just a novelty.

So are Porcupine Tree, and PT > ND

Sonata Arctica for Finland! Opeth/Meshuggah for Sweden! Rhapsody for Italy!

[edit] Just thought of Dragonforce, that would be interesting!

Was Hard Rock Hallelujah written solely for the Eurovision?

No, it appears on their latest album The Arockalypse, along with their other potential Eurovision song Bringing Back The Balls To Rock.

But I recall someone saying that Hard Rock Hallelujah was only added to the the 'Arockalypse' album afte the Eurovision, and that, after reading the lyrics, the whole song is apparently about them coming and wining the Eurovision.

It was. YLE Television approached Lordi and asked them if they would consider writing a song for Eurovision and perform it. It was added to the album, The Arockalypse, later. The rest is history....

With Christina I find this a far more enticing prospect. ;)

Hard Rock Hallelujah has debuted at #4 in the Irish singles charts. It's expected to reach #1 soon. :)
