Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I'm probably not following this right, but will this not totally suck for the people who draw angola or trindad and tobago ? :)

    They can always get the 1st Penalty, 1st Red card or Worst Goal Difference and get their money back. If I had 32 people to do this with I'd do it.

    We did the usual sweepstakes in work in '04 and I got England, but this time around there are hardly any football fans in my job... :(

    Great idea though.

    We did something like this over on the Poker forum.See This thread.

    In short we ran a poker tournament and the winner got first choice etc etc.

    In 2002 I got Costa Rica. Pretty much ended any fun in that bet for me straight away.

    Throw in a few moer novelty winners and you have it perfect. WE done a sweep for 2002 and when i got Korea i was disgusted presuming i was out early doors. How wrong was i:p

    In the poker forum we sent the monies to one person through the member to member transfer system on pokerstars - no charges like paypal etc, Id be up for doing something similar with one of these ideas.
