I did some diving as part of a fortnight's holiday in Corsica in 2003. Dived off Calvi (where there is a B52 bomber wreck - unfortunately, didn't get to see) and also off Porto. I would rate the latter higher - we dived at the edges of the Scandola Marine Park (it is forbidden to dive in the park itself), so saw lots of marine life. Viz was fantastic in both locations.

Corsica is a beautiful island - high mountains dropping straight down into the blue sea. It's great place for a holiday if you're into the outdoors - sea kayaking, climbing (via ferratta), and hiking are all possibilities. Plus (I've heard) great canyoning earlier in the year. Be careful not to hike high in the mountains until a reasonable period after diving, though.

    enjoy!
