Eircom BB ... phone problem

    I've been running Eircom BB for the past six months without any problems untill today ....

    while the BB connection is working fine the two phones I have connected have suddenly stopped working :( (I can't make or receive phone calls)

    have disconnected everything from the main incoming socket and just connected a phone (with filter) and get nothing and yet when I connect my PC the BB continues to work fine :cool:

    any ideas? :confused: .....

    Try connecting without the filter.

    Possibly the filter's just broken.

    tried without filter ..... no joy

    tried a spare new filter .... no joy

    tried a spare phone ... no joy

    so I seem to have an active BB service but no phone service coming in on the line ? :confused: ...... get out of that one !!! :cool:
