Just ordered a creative zen nano from amazon much cheaper than you get them here(amazon dont deliver to ireland anymore for some reason so i had to send it to a friend in manchester who's in dublin regularly) ,anyway the price of aaa rechareable batteries and charger is too expensive to buy online and pay for shipping so where in dublin can i get a charger and batteries for a good price?
    cheers

We had them a wee while back in Harvey Norman, Dundalk. 2 batteries and a charger for €8.99. Perhaps the Swords branch would have them also.

Oh and that's the first I've heard of Amazon not delivering to Ireland. I got stuff delivered from Amazon.co.uk recently. Even if you mean Amazon.com, I'd still be very surprised.

What price did you get the Zen Nano for (including delivery)? They sell over retail counters in Ireland for €75 (512Mb) and €95 (1Gb) now.

Komplett also supply 2xAA and 2xAAA rechargeable batteries, with a multi-plug travel charger, for EUR15.00.

Just a quick check on the Argos website revealed a pack of 4 AAA Duracell rechargeable batteries for £11.99 - or about EUR20, I'd say.

Just one thing, though, is the voltage output from an AAA rechargeable battery not slightly different to that of a standard (i.e., 1.5 volt) alkaline or zinc-carbon battery? It wouldn't do the player's electronics any good if the voltage were too low or too high. That's what's putting me off buying a player without an internally rechargable battery.
