Dammit. I haven't been on a rant in ages and then a post like this come along!!!

FFS, what kind of a question is this? Does nobody do any research of their own anymore? To the OP, what kind of answer did you really expect? Why don't you go the the Computer forum and ask "Can anyone tell me what a computer is and how they work?"
