    Does anyone know when/if Ntl will be launching their own Pvr like Sky Plus?

    they have something called "on demand" (http://home.ntl.com/ondemand/index.html) which looks to be a SKY+ like service.

    That looks like its only available in the UK and its not a PVR more like some sort of interactive TV service with elements of Pay per View.

    On Demand is when the movie is stored on the NTL end and is streamed live to your TV. You can pause and rewind, just like a DVD or tape.

    It is available on the NTL menu here, not sure if it is actually available.
