Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a cleanser. I specifically need an exfoliating cleanser which isnt too harsh as I have very sensitive skin. Any ones I've tried have left my skin feeling very dry and tight and in some cases irritated.
    Thanks!

I use Clinique for Men, Descruffing Lotion and find it works great, it also comes in 4 strenghts so you can get a mild one. I've no idea what the female version is called (it's prob teh smal thing but in a differnt bottle).

It's meant to be used as part of a 3 step "program" but I'd sure it'll be good by itself.

Dermalogica have an excellent cleanser and microexfoliant they are very good. also try using bio oil you get in good health shops its a moisturiser but loads more as well like scar & stretch match reducer.. best of luck

^^That would be the clarifying lotions 1-4. Number 4 can take off false tan so stay away from that one!

I think Clinique should make me their PR person im always raving bout it but seriously their stuff is really good. ive ridiculously sensetive skin and after much trial and error its the only stuff for me!

body shop have a really good tea tree exfoliating cleanser for roughly ten euro - its really soothing and leaves your skin feeling really fresh. failing that, i swear by ganier pure for sensitive skin.

Origins, Never a dull moment is the best exfoliator I have ever used and it is really gentle:

    http://www.origins.co.uk/templates/products/sp_nonshaded.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CAT3672&PRODUCT_ID=PROD65902

Basically I wash my face beforehand with clarins wash but you can use Marks & Spencer facial wash (€1.50) as it is made by clarins anyway.

Use the Origins afterwards and it really exfoliates you skin and is really really gentle. :)

Simple cleanser is really good and really soft on your skin, it doesn't dry it out.

St. Ives has one for normal skin and one for sensitive skin. I find the sensitive one is really nice and not in the slightest bit harsh. They have natural ingredients like almonds which are very good for your skin. It's a really nice face wash/scrub not rough on my face at all. I've tried loads of different types and they mostly leave my face feeling red or slighty stinging so St. Ives is just lovely.

thats the one I've been using as its the only one that isnt harsh but I dont find its any good at exfoliating though.

Yeah its not really for exfoliating, I use a seperate exfoliator when my skin gets really dry, the Thalgo one is really good but I think its pretty expensive. Since your skin is sensitive you have to make sure the grains in the exfoliator aren't too big coz that'll irritate your skin.
