Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Yo,
Only know of the one shop (East side of St Stephens Green) that stocks good quality "clip-on" sunglasses. Oh, and if someone says to goto specsavers/boots/etc, the current glasses (the glass part) cost about €300, so I ain't buying another pair. Mainly need them for cycling, etc, but also handy for when I'm fishing/golfing/walking around.

in sepcsavers you can bring in an old frame if you have one and get the tinted lenses in for about €50.
    alot better than €300

the_syco, what is the name of the shop off Grafton Street that you are talking about? My mother and sister both wear glasses and they find it very hard to get clip on sunglasses in Cork.

    Thanks,
    A.

you can get a pair by Chanel for €250 here in galway. they are prescripton glasses. the group is call the opticalboutique i think in the galway shoppin centre.
alot of the high profile designers or the high profile optitions should sell them...

The- Syco: another thought why no invest in reacta- lights by specsavers.
they are €50 too and change form clear when dismal to black/ brown/ blue when sunny.

Nope. They take about 5 minutes to change fully. Also, they change indoors, if your watching TV, etc, so I'm told.

b3t4: Go to where the red arrow points to here. Its to the left of a (Sony?) shop. Its an opticans shop. Just say that you're looking for clip-on shades for your glasses. Not perfect fits, mind you, but close enough.

Cheers. I'll look into it, as I've a spare set, which I'll see if I can use.
