    noticed over last few days
    when l floor my diesel,l see a lot of grey-black smoke,even l pickup speed hard,never noticed it before,it was serviced at dealers 2 months ago to find out they didnt change air filter and found dirt where air filter is installed and also my engine is very black
    would changing the oil help,

    its good to clean out the inside of ur engine once a year.
    get a cleaning additive for diesel. replace air filter and check for
    leaks between air intake and engine where dirty air might get
    in. use oil additive before oil change so more of the dirty oil comes
    out during the change. use a good oil (gtx mag or sim) and change
    ur oil filter too.
    diesels will always have some smoke and u will see it more at night
    when a cars lights are behind u. a dirty engine can mean different
    things so unless its just from the road you need to find the source
    and see if there is a problem.

    its summer so get to work.

    yes its the jeep got remapped,only been smoking since l changed air filter because other was filty and was to have been changed by dealer,will be giving a oil change and fuel filter change as l dont trust dealer did any thing to jeep

    WAS SMOKIE ,just seem more since l changed the air filter that the bloody dealer was to have changed,will now change the oil and filter and fuel filter
