Laying Kerbs

    Hi,

Anyone got any tips for laying concrete kerbs. What kind of foundation/base should I prepare, what cement mix should I use to set them, any tips for dealing with sharp rise in ground level? I've about 400m to do so any tips to speed me up or make it look better would be great.

Has anyone ever used the slipform kerbing contractors? Are they expensive?

Anyone have alternatives to concrete kerbs that might be easier to put down. I'm not a fan of the railway sleeper look. It's for a driveway and around some lawns.

    Thanks
