I have freckles on my cheeks which I hate with a passion! My foundation usually covers them up alright but when I'm at home with no makeup on I think they make me look about 12! Also later in the day when my foundation starts to wear off they become sort of visible. They're just on my cheeks, they're not that bad, not that dark in colour but I still hate them and wish my skin was totally clear because it would be only for them! I have them on my arms too and probably another 10 or so randomly placed on my body! I'm really only concerned about the ones on my cheeks though! Ok so my 2 questions: Is there anything to help get rid of them?? I'm guessing there's not and also what do people think of them??

I hear lemon juice or cucumber skins put on your cheeks helps

Seeing as freckles are sun damage i dont think you can "get rid" of them per se. Although they do fade, mine are really noticable initially but after a few months they fade away totally.

If you dont want any in future wear a high sun factor although as in my case i get freckles regardless. I quite like my freckles they make my fake tan look more natural..

I think freckles look really cool on girls with clear skin, I get some across the bridge of my nose when the weather is really warm, but they're not very noticeable. They're cool though, they can make girls look really pretty, and from a boys point of view my husband loves them, he thinks they make girls look really cute.:D

I hated my freckles when I was a kid and did everything I could to cover them up (including trying to 'bleach' my skin with lemon juice!) As I get older I quite like them, I suppose because I associate them with looking 'youthful'

Have you heard of Evangeline Lilly from Lost, voted second best looking woman in the world. She has freckles and is absolutely savage, so I guess it depends on what type of face you have behind those freckles

ha thats weird. There was a thread in AH a while back where you entered your pic into this site and it told you what celebs you ''looked like''. Evangeline Lilly was one of my results.. now I know where they got that from! Didn't know who she was though.

Freckles are sooo pretty and really beautiful!I love the ones on my nose and shoulders (ad all my boyfriends have too:) ) You should really try and enhance them and not cover them!!I would if I had more but mine only come out in the summer...roll on the summer!

Freckles are so pretty but i know one of my best friends hates hers too.theres a cream you can buy called Fade Out??and i think it fades the freckles..i dont know where you live but i think its available in McCabes pharmacys in Dundrum?

I get a few freckles at the start of summer, and I think they're generally cute.
If you really hate them, think how much worse it could be. You could have disastrous acne or something instead.

Well that being said..some people hate a mole on there face whilst others thinks its lovely?you know you always want what you cant have..

and fuzzywiggle im not COMPLETELY sure if its still there and one of my friends used to use it..your best bet would probably to ring the pharmacy and enquire first before you trek out?

They are freckles. I used to get some on my cheeks & nose when i was a kid I hated them but they have since gone.

It isn't a big deal and on cute people I guess they look cute
