Ipod power issue

    Hi Folks,

    Just got a new video Ipod - 30GB - I have a small issue... I think

    the battery doesnt seem to last at all - it says 20 hours on the net but I am lucky to get 8 at a push,

    Everything is down to minimum except for a bass reduction setting in the equalizer menu

    has anybody has a simular issue.....?

    Should I, can I bring it back.....?

    Hi,
    The spec. states 14 - see http://www.apple.com/ipod/specs.html

    I would only expect too get about 10 hours.

    The fuller the HDD the more power is used, also if you swap songs to often this also affects the battery time.

    If you have the bit rate too high on the songs, this will also affect the battery time.
