Just about to defect from driving Nissan imports to Mistubishi imports. Specifically, its a Mitsubishi Colt Mirage Coupe, selling for €3,750, 97 reg and 32,000 miles on the clock. I've seen it and driven it and it seems to go like a dream. Does anyone else have any experience of these? My Nissan March has been going since 93 and still is going really well. I'm hoping this Mitsubishi will do something similar.

The Mirage Coupe is a Lovely car!! What Litre is it??
From what I know as long as you look after them well you are sorted!! I went looking for one for a while but gave up cos some are far too overpriced!!

Mileage that low on a 9-year-old car sounds a bit suspect.

Lovely car. Wifes friend had one and it was great - she had it for years without any major problems. Just make sure you look after it and it will be grand.

Might be worth your while posting this question on Manic-Motorz there are a few current owners over there and some others who have had them in the past. They may be able to give you more info

It's 1.3L and yeah, I was a bit suspect of the mileage as well, but it was bought directly from a dealer who specialises in imports. I guess they don't do as much driving in Japan. I'm not too bothered really- my own motor is just over 100,000km now and like I said, it's a '93. As long as I get 2 to 3 years out of it, I'll be happy. Anything more is a bonus!

Im guessing that it has the same engine as the lancer, if so i will tell u a gud 1!!! My mother has a 98 lancer with 202,000 miles yes miles on it and it has never broken down, just the usual service t belt and brakes and nothing else, nct til 08 as well. So i wouldn't be 2 worried about the milage.:D

Or they do a lot of clocking in Ireland :D

personally i think the coupe version is rotten and much prefer the normal shaped mirage but everyone to his own.
