Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Proberly should have posted this in TV forum or even After Hours but hey we might get some insightful analysis here! :D

    The teams

    Robbie Williams/Jonathan Wilkes/Ben Shephard/Jamie Theakston/Ronnie O’Sullivan/David Gray/Bradley Walsh/Damian Lewis/Angus Deayton/Dean Lennox Kelly/David Seaman/Tony Adams/Paul Gascoigne/Jamie Redknapp/
    Les Ferdinand/John Barnes/Bryan Robson

    Gordon Ramsay/Eddie Irvine/Patrick Kielty/Ben Johnson/David Campese/
    Sergei Fedorov/Alastair Campbell/Brian McFadden/Craig Doyle/
    Alessandro Nivola/Gianfranco Zola/Marcel Desailly/David Ginola/ Dunga/
    Lothar Matthaus/Peter Schmeichel/Diego Maradona

I think Johnny Foreigner should win this one. ;)

Hopefully it'll be as entertaining as Tsunami Aid game between Liverpool Old Boys and the 'B' Listers.

    Mike.

Chucky, Doyle is 'up for this' like a true Irishman apparently. He wants to give the Englanders a good hammering before cashing in his BBC cheques!

and Gordon Ramsey playing up front with him ? Should be good for a laugh though. Great to see an old hero of mine, John Barnes, on the field again.

Quite a difference in the team talks there. I fear RoTW are gonna get killed by England :/

Good CB pairing for England - Adams and Shepherd. Ben Shepherd was very good in The Match.

P.S. I thought Greco was English

Not nearly as good as the second goal though. Class from the ex Toffee youth player. Poor old Diego getting a hard time "remember 86!" and all that.

    Mike.

Hopefully Diego can get another goal with his hand. Pity to see him getting booed from some in the crowd. I reckon England will start to score freely now with paddy kielty taking over in goal for the ROW, unless he plans to put the strikers off by shouting a few one liners at them just as the are about to shoot.

England have a celeb keeper too. Zola & Maradona to score a lob apiece :D

Yeah I switched over to that as well. A significant match from an Irish POV too as Jack Charlton was at it and the way England played after going 2-0 down apparently cemented his intention to use long-ball tactics with us.
