A quiet day of shooting today, with only four WTSC shooters on the line over the two details. The wind conditions were, well, awful Nearby dublin airport was listing winds of 19 knots gusting to 33, and you felt it on the range! Careful observation of the wind patterns for some time before the detail helped only a little, as the wind patterns changed during each detail, just to keep you on your toes. And the weather forecasts say tomorrow will be more of the same!

Tomorrow's details are more heavily booked, with five of the six points on each detail booked already by shooters from WTSC, DURC, FRC, RRPC, ATSC and DRC.

    Scores from today:
    WTSC Mark Dennehy A 92 92 93 93 93 95 558
    WTSC Richard Stapleton Jr A 93 89 96 86 93 95 552
    WTSC Daniel Fleming C 86 79 84 88 91 92 520
    WTSC Don McLave D 79 81 88 85 80 88 501

A much busier day of shooting this Sunday, with eleven shooters in total. Wind conditions were as random as Saturday, but not as strong. Because of the difference in conditions, it was agreed to treat the two days as two seperate competitions. It was a tight competition, with the lead going one way and then the other throughout the competition, but it was finally taken with a very convincing 197/200 card by Tony Cogan.
