Ok just bought the 999 HDTV from Xtravision and installed it, looks ok on Sky(Not HD Sky), looks ok on Sky but just watching the GAA on RTE and looks a bit washed out, has anyone actually spent some time on the setting to see what the best ones could be on the HDTV?

TV I bought was the Hyundai 32"

Just normal Sky, plugged in using the Scart cable from the back of the Sky box to the TV

I have the same tv, got it saturday, and the picture is cool.

I have my sky box connected to the tv with the full scart, but I'm using a €20 scart cable, not a standard €5 one, try a better quality cable and see if it makes a difference, it did with me.

I also messed with the picture settings a bit, increasing sharpness and saturation etc.

    Hey Nelly,

If you are looking for good quality Scart, Component, HDMI etc. check these e-tailers out.

I have used both of these sites and they are a lot cheaper then Irish retail shops.
