HELP - Make steering wheel remote work with head unit -clio

    Just bought a 99 Clio and put in a stereo.
    It's a pioneer deh-p4700MP head unit.
    I have it all working except for the steering wheel remote(which is on all 99 clios I believe).
    How would I get this to work?
    There doesnt seem to be any spare wires on the head unit that would attatch to the wires coming from the S/W remote.
    And there is no connections(sockets?) either.

    Any ideas on how to get the s/w remote working?
    I can take some photos if necessary.
