dvi connection to sky hd box

    hi guys, can anyone shed some light on this.......i have a plasma tv with a dvi connection and wondered if i connect this through a dvi to hdmi cable to my sky hd box , will i get a true hd quality picture , has anyone done this if so let me know thx....

    Yeah you will get your picture in HD, but you will have to input your sound to the TV from the audio outputs on the box.

    Unless your using a cinema amp for the sound.

    a slight deviation from what you'e after, but it's interesting reading all the same about the HDMI interface and the newer HD tv's.

    Sparky-s is correct, all you need is a connector and rig the sound.
