not at present as the drive in the 360 is not a HD-DVD drive but there is talk of a HD-DVD add on for the 360 and maybe they will have a HD-DVD 360 further down the line .

what about using a dvd rom on a pc with any type of hd out or somthing ?

Nope, you need a HD-DVD drive, no substitute.
