Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Theres a couple of options missing from the poll.

He took his goal well tonight but he was given a lot of space to work with, he won't get that against top class defenders.

I must of missed it too. He came on when they were 2-1 up. He scored. They won 3-1.

How was that a match winning performance then? They were winning when he came on and Hungary didn't score while he was on the pitch.

Hungary were having a resurgence. Peter Crouch crushed their spirit thereby winning the match.

I'm getting a sence here that the good aul Atari Jaguar poll option may be replaced with a Peter Crouch the greatest option instead. They are both up there!!!

Yeah please put in Atari Jaguar or another option stating how retarded this trhead is, one or the other, it don't matter.

Liverpool have been referred to as a one man team at times. But it is a measure of Crouch's modesty that he allows Gerrard to take the plaudits.

Peter Crouch - we salute you:p

    Peter Crouch Crouch Crouch!

I wouldn't be surprised seeing as we will get to see it at least for times for every single game he starts in the World Cup.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,482 ✭✭✭RE*AC*TOR

paddypower.com are offerring peter crouch at 50-1 for top scorer in the world cup.

    easy money!

btw, mods just to be clear - Keyser Soze 5 should be put down for "great".

And yet you continue to post in it, more of a reflection on you than anybody Nelly.

As for Crouch, he came on and did a job, scored a nice goal too. Two on thebounce for him in internationals now, that's not too shabby.

nope. its 80-1 for the Crouch top-goalscorer and england winning the world-cup combo. I'd nearly go for it, but I can't guarantee Crouch's team-mates won't let him down.
