Calling Kildare peeps- Castledermot car dealer?

This is a looooooooong shot, but I've got my eye on a loaded Audi A6 spotted in B&S, with a bit of detective work I've spotted the seller has several cars for sale. The county location is Kildare but described in the text as Carlow Area so I'm guessing its in or near Castledermot. Anyone know who this guy might be? Castledermot Motor Centre is the only garage that I know of, are there any other?

Any more details so we can do some research for you.also he might be a private seller so might not be a garage.just call him to meet up and see where he is based.thats easiest and safest option.

Is also '96, silver and also has 101k miles and it matches your reference to Kildare. No mention of leather though. Asking €5,850 though :eek:

The other cars for sale do not match between the carzone dealer and john maher though. Maybe a coincidence about the A6 so

P.S. There's a lot of Mahers in Goresbridge, Co. Kilkenny, involved in the car business. Maybe one of their clan?

I saw that A6 on CGB. overpriced. The Buy and Sell one has dropped in price in the last two weeks.

As for the w124, in an ideal world but what the hell.

There is a guy who deals mostly in VW on the road from Castledermot to Killerig/Tullow. Small place, but very clean/professional looking. Been there for years.

If you come into castledermot from Waterford, and just before the bridge you take a right, and keep right (as the road immediately splits into a y junction) and he is not far up that road on the LHS. Think it is called Byrnes or something like that.

I will be travelling that road either tomorrow or Friday it it is any use to you, PM me if so.

Interesting! I use that road very occasionaly and I did wonder if there was a place down there (I drive from Tullow direction when I use it). I'll be going up on Friday.

Well if you are coming from Tullow,
Pass Killirreg Castle GC on Left,
Through Cross Roads,
Then after on the while, on the RHS there is a cream (iirc) house and a Meat/Butcher workshop beside it.
Very soon after that on the RHS is the car sales place I am talking about, it has a cream wall and black railings.

Yea that guy is a kind of VW/Audi specialist.
He's quite expensive and has a touch of arrogance as the cars he sells are always in such demand in the used market.He tryed to flog a passat to me before, even though I had clearly no interest in the car!
