Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Consistent contrast / brightness in video on different computer monitors

    Hi,

I have a very high quality AVI. Im using Premier Pro 1.5.

The AVI looks fine on some monitors but really dark on others. Ive tried modifying the brightness/contrast on the dark monitors but it doesnt change the video. The video is just dark on some monitors. The AVI will eventually be saved down for delivery over the web as flash flv. I want to ensure all users see the same thing though - so given that it looks differently on different monitors, how do I know what brightness/contrast to set it to? In fact, how do I know my PC with premier on it has a truely representative brightness/contrast?

    Hope someone can help!

    Thanks,

    Tim

Can anyone shed some light on this (excuse the pun!). I really just want to know - how do I adjust brightness/contrast in a video correctly If video always look different monitor to monitor?

    Thanks!

The best thing to do is line up your monitor.... Ie using a Pluge test card to set the contrast/brightness

I don't know where you'd find a full screen test card, can't be too hard to get one.
