Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey all,

I'm planning on getting a pcmcia card with Rangebooster G technology.....seemingly it uses 2 receivers on the card as opposed to one.

Could someone tell me does my router need to have Rangebooster G technology?

I have a D-LINK DI-624 router which has AirPlus Extreme but I can't see anything about Rangebooster on it!!

Yep, RangeBooster card needs to be connected to RangeBooster router to make use of that feature. Otherwise it will just operate like a standard 54g card.

RangeBooster is DLinks "pre-n" technology, an implementation of the not-yet-ratified 802.11n standard.

The card should still work at 802.11g speeds with your DI-624, but probably only at 802.11g speeds, not at "Airplus Extreme" speeds.
