GIRONA - The famous Spanish Armada ship was wrecked on Lacada point over 400 years ago. Fascinating site below Chimmy Tops of the Giants Causeway. THIS IS NOW A PROTECTED HISTORIC WRECK SITE. Unfortunately diving is forbidden within the area of Lacada Point.

Got this from the Aquaholics website. Who forbids diving here? What exactly does this mean? Is there anywhere else in this part of the world where it is forbidden to dive?

Yep loads of places, Greece has just opened up a load of archealogical dive areas that have been restricted up till now to prevent treasure hunters pillaging the sites. There are various underwater national parks around the globe that are also protected so you can't dive them either.
