Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do you intend giving the files back when you're done with them?

Anyhow, I presume you need a bootable version of DOS, or would something like DOSBox do?

    boot disks on www.bootdisk.com - Pure Dos 5 for fat 16 2GB or Win98 (win95 osr2 ) for fat32 > 2GB - don't forget you need a CDROM driver for DOS too.

freedos ISO has lots more drivers than DOS and no worries re the licence

Cd rom drivers a non issue :)

Installed freedos onto it via another laptop, whipped out HD booted it in borkled tried to run winnt Xp setup and gave me numerous missing files errors, then it deleted ntldr and now i back to square 1 :(

Have a laptop with no bootable files on it and no cd rom or bootable Nic or USB. A fat32 partiton on C and another NTFS partition.

If i had the installed files from a Dos partition i could boot up and run Xp setup from it. Freedos worked for a bit, giving up for a while .
