Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I need 2 get my phone flashed (6280). Which software version should i ask them for? And is this place in sandyford industrial estate the best or is there anywhere else?

    They update it to the latest os available I think. I don't know if there's anywhere else that does it - all I know is that Vodafone and O2 use them cos when I went into one of the O2 shops a while back to get it done there and then as I thought, I was told that the shops don't actually do it, the phone has to be sent there and are then returned to the shop. It's free if your phone is within warranty and you need to be able to back up your memory cos it wipes everything.

    Problem with "the place in Sandyford" is that generally if its a VF phone, they put VF branding back on..... if its a '3' phone, they put '3' branding back on it etc

    Anyway, just to let you know this method that Cyrus mentioned is available free, and yes, it will work, BUT like the thread says, do so at your own risk!!!!

    I have had 3 BB5 phones in for repair already since this was released :) Roll on the free software :D
