Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A friends pc kept freezing when opening mails in hotmail,
I took it home and realised software had never been updated since he started it 3 yrs ago or so,anyway i updated everything and it worked fine for me. I used it a couple of days and gave it back but he tells me everything is working but hotmail is still freezing,
Should i delete hotmail and reinstall it? if so how? as on my own laptop i dont see it in add/remove programs.
Oh yea there was a lot of virus on his pc but i think i got them all using spybot/ad-aware and avg.

    thanks in advance

    D,

Also try and get him to replicate the problem while you're there. All too often I've been told the problem is like "Every time she opens her email, the computer crashes", when it's actually, "Every time she tries to open a particular attachment, downloaded from a particular mail, it crashes". :)
