Exam Results

For anyone doing third English (and I assume other Arts subjects) the English board meets on friday, so results could be up by monday. If they are, post it here so we know? I'm terrified to even look at SIS anymore, never mind log in.

Als eine Frage, ... dammit, I really have to get this workplace Germanicness out of me! Anyway, should I take it that if Pythia's grades are out (and congrats by the way! ), that the All Modular Students lark doesn't apply to the Quinn School, and that we're still going by the other timetables?

In case anyone else is still waiting on results...I got mine today (4 BBLS) on SIS even though exams website said next Wednesday...so nearly a full week ahead of schedule.

Got exactly what I wanted and now I'm officially a graduant (that's until the ceremony in September where I become a graduate).

I'm 3rd BBLS and got my results today too. Was happy with them and got what I wanted/expected. Sets me up nicely for next year.

Hmm. Got an E in one of my chem modules. NW in my elective

Any idea how my 3.07 GPA comes into play? Would it bring up my chem grade or would they already have done those calulations?

Well PC means Pass by Compensation......PASS by compensation.

You have no failing grades there. (I'm assuming D is still a pass...)

Dunno how the hell I got a C in philosophy... that's a bad reflection on the school of philosophy, cos all I did was read a summary of the Republic the day before the exam!!! lol

I still don't feel comfortable yet... I might email the exams office or somethin, and ask for confirmation...

I did savage in Irish and I'm really delighted but I kinda got an E in psych and a big fat ugly F in one of my linguistic modules.
Theres go the rest of my summer.

Heh I prefer to use the word "realistic"....:o English went very, very badly.

Results are due out on the 6th so could be as early as Monday.

Scraggs, sorry to hear that hun. Repeats suck ass, especially when you know it was just the odd one or two.

Got an A- in Literary Genre and a B+ in Medieval. 2 A-s in Psychology. The thing is every time I think I did really badly in an English exam somehow I end up doing ok. For my Literary Genre exam I had this wonky table that took forever to sort, I had a bit of a brain freeze and I messed up some of my quotes but I did better than my Medieval which I was really prepared for.

These are all (excepting accounting) inversly proportional to the ammount of work I did for the subject. Very strange....

2.97 gpa in semester 1 and i dont even wanna know my gpa in semester 2

OB im pretty happy with. Only joined the module half way through.

Programming as expected.

Comp Architecture as expected. Didnt do first 2 and a half assignments outta 5.

Software Engineering project im a little flumuxed by. Was in same project group as Dave and while he had slightly higher marks going into it i dont think it warranted such a big gap. I also didnt think our project was that bad. I put a load of bloody work into that thing.

Formal Foundations. This is a turn up for the books i must say. I have no idea how i managed a B in this. I was worried i might fail it before the exam and thought id done enough to pass.

Calculus as expected. Needed grinds this summer and plan to get them.

SEP tho i cant repeat as there was no written exam at all. Looks like ill be repeating 1st year again just for that bloody module (well not going onto 2nd year i mean). BOLLOX. Really thought our project was enough to pass
