As time goes by I dislike alfa romeo's more and more .
Years ago I used to love them ,but as time has gone by I see no change in there image at all ,to me they have looked the same for years.

Are they a good car ,or do people just fall for what I fell for years ago??

Alfas are great to drive - no doubt about it. But while I haven't checked the links listed above I'm sure that they all point to a bad track record from a reliability point of view. Unfortunately, my experience of Alfas would also be that they can be unreliable. But if you want something thats fun to drive with cool looks then Alfa is the one.

well, if you dislike them so much, why would you consider one?

I am not ,I was just wondering what the general feeling was from roadusers

To me they have lizard like light clusters ,I keep expecting a long skinny tongue to lash out from the front of the car and grab insects.

To me this car is the same as the one above ,the rear lights are almost the same and the car itself has the same characteristics.

BMW,Mercedes and almost all other manufactures have moved on in time.

I think you need better glasses. The only things similar about those two cars, is the Alfa red colour, and the fact that both have flared wheel arches.

The rear lights look nothing alike!

I don't actually ,the rear brake lights are flat and rectangular and are placed in the exact same spot . Both cars have sloped roofs towards the rear.
Both have the rear wheels positioned in the same spot.
They both have the same profile along the centre side ,just over the wheel arches. I prefer the older one ,as it won't go out of fashion like a kids toy.

The new one just looks more like a reptile.
Alfa's have no personality ,they come in all dolled up and are forgotten about in a year ,just like yer woman chantelle on channel 4.
