I've seen some houses for sale on auctioneers websites in some border areas which are "tax incentive" areas.

Would you anyone know what this actually means?

    Thanks!

Basicly if you buy property in a tax incentive area you get accelerated capital allowance against rental income. Compared to normal capital allowance and therefore meaning that you have little or no rental income tax to pay.

    Mainly aimed at investors....

    Thanks Kluivert

Is there a scheme whereby the refurbishment costs of your primary residence are to some extent tax deductible in tax incentive areas?
