All in the title really. I haven't got Summer holidays unlike you waster students :p

    PS2:
Dragon Quest VIII: Excellent except for the difficulty spikes. I'll have a thread on this later because it's ruining what could be a fantastic game.
Gitaroo Man: Beat it in about 2 days but still come back to it.
Gradius V: Best Shmup' in the last 8 years.

    Xbox:
Farcry Instincts: Not bad but nothing special
Warriors: Love the film and the game really does it justice. Excellent stuff.

    Gamecube:
GC is getting a little neglected. Have to get back to battlion wars.

    N64:
Blast Corps: There's nothing more fun than mindless destruction :)
Goldeneye: Aged very badly but still worth playing.

    DS/GBA:
Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga: Almost beaten it. Mammoth game for a handheld.

    PSP:
    Expensive MP3 player

    Saturn:
Power transformer is broken so can't play my foreign consoles :(

I've decided to concentrate on one (well, alright, three) games at a time now, and only move on once I've finished with it (them). We'll see how long it lasts! This is what I've got lined up:

    PS2
Psychonauts - I can't help but love this, but it's such a shame all the good ideas were only spent on the narrative.
Outrun 2006: Coast2Coast - the racing makes up for the name, and there's just so much glorious blue-sky gaming.
Gradius V - It is the best shoot-'em-up. EVAR.
Guitar Hero - at which I am rubbish.
Shadow of the Colossus - still being saved for one crazy weekend.
Forbidden Siren - for as long as I can brave the terrifying dub.

    Gamecube
    Chibi Robo - just lovely.
Metroid Prime: Echoes - goth Metroid Prime.
Animal Leader - I just don't know. I might love it.
Wave Race - Whee, with gorgeous scenery and lots of little sea creatures.

    DS
Tetris DS - which is Tetris.
Osu! Tatake! Ouendan! - I've just got good enough so that super hard is actually fun, so there's still life in this. Hooray!
Advance Wars DS - at which I'm rubbish.

    PC
Diablo 2 - no idea why.

    And ROMs. Lots of ROMs.

    See the signature.

I *should* have finished Prince of Persia ages ago, but a combination of work being nasty and the game being almost totally devoid of fun have made it a long slog.
I might set aside a day to finish it, or i'll set the disk on fire, one or the other.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,753 ✭✭✭qz

    PS2 - GT4
PSP - GTA:LCS, RR, Lumines (It's been ages)
DS - If I'm feeling thrifty!

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,216 ✭✭✭✭monkeyfudge

I'm currently playing Dreamfall on the PC... it's very lovely... but the combat is a bit wonky in it...

But the main character has such lovely eyes....

I've also gone back to City of Heroes / Villians as they released Issue 7 this week.

I'll have to get back around to playing Dragon Quest VIII... I was pretty damn far in... then I went on holiday and I haven't picked it back up since I came back.

Only playing Gran Turismo 4 at the moment.
It's so repetative yet I can't stop playing it and I don't even know why considering you don't really get much out of the experience.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,272 ✭✭✭i_am_dogboy

but the combat is a bit wonky in it...

Heh, I would say a bit more than a bit wonkey, I can't remember a single fight that wasn't won without pressing the same button over and over and over, thankfully it's only a tiny bit of the game and doesn't get in the way all too much. And yes, zoe has lovely eyes-but I think theoretically blind bobs are more impressive....

got guitar hero yesterday out of boredome.

thought I would give it a quick try before going bed, hooked it up and suddenly it was 6 hours later.

btw. does anybody know a place where you can get an extra guitar?

I couldn't beat that Australian guy in the hotel at all though... I had to set his pizza to finish early and then sneak past him.

Bleh.... Theoretically Blind Bob... That's the bit I'm at now.... stupid mulled wine...

Heroes of Might and Magic V: A bit buggy but good fun to play.

Oblivion: This will stay on my disk for another couple of months (or years?).
