Finished HL2 Episode 1 on PC the other day, before that was playing a bit of Day of Defeat: Source, currently playing LocoRoco on PSP... and on the side I'm always playing a bit of Locomotion (when I'm not playing something like SimCity on the side).

Playing the following when time, wife and child allow,

    PS2:
    24 the game,
    Shadow of the Colossus,
    Black,
    Everyone Loves Katamari,
    Driver, Parallel Lines.

    Xbox:
    Star Wars; Kotor2
    Star Wars Battlefront2,
    Halo 2,
Robotech, the first one, not the crappy second one!

    360:
    Burnout Revenge,
    N4S:MW,
    Oblivion,
    Geometry Wars Evolved.

    GC:
Resi 4, got a bit sidetracked, now back to this with a vengence.
Luigis Mansion, one of the best examples of videogames as a toy, wonderful.
    Metroid Prime 2 Echoes.
    DS:
    New Super Mario Bros.
    Trauma Centre,
    Animal Crossing,
    Brain Training,
    Metroid Prime Hunters.

And the occasional blast of Robotron on MAME and a spot of Metropolis Street Racing for good measure.

I couldn't beat that Australian guy in the hotel at all though... I had to set his pizza to finish early and then sneak past him.
You can avoid nearly all the fights in the game by doing other stuff, which is a good thing.

The mulled wine puzzle ain't at all hard, it's a bit of a pain in the ass but you get to see the lovely Marcuria(is that the name?) and hear the lovely music and the amusing chatter of the people at the market.

I just cleared HL2 expansion 1 so that can be taken off my list, I suppose I'll play it again with the commentary.....can't afford to buy any more new games till the end of the month :(

    Mostly old stuff:
    PC:
Starcraft - single player - yet another game I never finished when it first came out.
    WoW - moo

    PS2:
A wee bit of Soul Calibre 3
    Spiderman 2 - schwing

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,560 ✭✭✭Ivan

    PC:
    WoW
Half life 2 (Again, on hard) - In anticipation of Episode 1

    GC:
Super Smash Brothers Melee - 4 way baby!
    MarioKart Double Dash

    PS2:
    Shadow of the Colossus
Mercenaries - I just cant force myself to finish this Gta style piece of crap.
God of War (on God mode)

    Xbox: (Not mine)
Mech Warrior - 2 Player Survival
Fightclub - Surprisingly great beat'em'up, if a little limited.

    Ds/Gba:
Red Emblem - I think it was Retr0gamer that recommended this game on another thread, ages ago. I managed to pick it up for 15 quid and I'm loving it. I just wish I had someone I could play it multiplayer with :(
MarioKart - As many people multiplayer as I can muster but generally 2-3 people. Great little game but I'm getting incredibly bored of it, plus Double Dash is vastly superior in almost every way.

    PSP:
    Err... whats that? :o

    PC:

-Playing about 5 hours of Oblivion a day for the last two weeks. So Goddamn good.

-The Longest Journey: Bought this when it first came out but it didn't work on my old PC so I returned it. Since I updated my PC around 2.5 years ago I've been meaning to pick it up, and Dreamfall's imminent release inspired me to get it off ebay recently. Pretty damn nice, very dialogue heavy, which is nice. Not many puzzles, but they're decent when they appear.

-Trying to finish F.E.A.R., which I lost interest in 3/4 of the way through.

-Preparing to start the new Hitman, once it arrives in the damn post.

-At least an hour or two per day of SoF2 MP, as usual.

    Xbox:

-Munch's Odyssey: I'm on the last level I think. Nice enough game.

    PSP:

    -Daxter: Meh. OK.

    Cube:

-Brushing up on my SSBM, in anticipation of the epic fights with my cousin which shall take place this summer. (Luigi is my best character, by the way. Buah.)

I loved in on the N64 but can't seem to get the big deal on the GC. It is good craic alright but meh like..

Never actually played the N64 version so I can't compare, but I f*cking love Melee. It's much more interesting to me than regular beat-em-ups, because there's a lot more variation in your average round, and playing on certain stages acually affects the gameplay, which is neat. The gameplay is just really well balanced, in my opinion, and is still great fun to play after all this time.

PC: Oblivion (and will be for a while). Hitman:Blood Money. Dreamfall:The Longest Journey
Xbox: Halo 2 (Just got a savage surround system so playing through again for the dolby digital aspect) :) And contemplating a run through of Jade Empire again.

    *loves Melee to bits too*
Seriously, I just keep going back to it. I've been playing for about 3 years now, and multiplayer just doesn't get old. Looking forward this weekend to both playing in and running a tournament in it at Vaticon in UCD :)

Just bought the Silent Hill Collection (was peeved to find that it didn't contain the first game!). Just after finishing Silent Hill 2, will move onto SH3 now.
