    I disagree to an extent. Yes all governments are corrupt and corporations essentially run things now...but the american political system is especially so, for many reasons. That's besides having much more power to screw things up.
    I think that comparitively Europe/Canada...etc people participate more (although that's changing it seems to me...especially here in Ireland) and manage to limit government malfeasance more so than in the States. I find the difference in media from America also has a major effect.
    Anyway back on topic.
