Rathdrum Rifle and Pistol Club has won approval for a sports capital grant of €12,000 for the purchase of electronic targets for our existing indoor range in Rathdrum. The Grant amounts to 62% of the total estimated outlay on the equipment, and with everything going according to plan, we'll be shooting on a full electronic target and scoring system come the reopening of the indoor season at the end of August!

Only one other shooting sport received a grant in the current allocation - Esker Grounds Development Group in Offaly got a grant of €50,000 for Clay Target Shooting grounds (e.g. shelter huts, shooting traps, shooting tower).

Did anyone else apply?

nice to see the sport getting some recognition even if i wont be able to benifit from it
