Upload Cisco PIX startup-config from TFTP

    I'm trying to upload a config from a TFTP server to the PIX 515 (version 6.3(4))
    On the pix i've run several suggested commands it still doesn't seem to work.
    ie. "copy tftp startup-config" and any form of copy command just returns the help (suggesting that it's really only used to copy an image not a config file).
    I've put in the line
    tftp-server inside 10.133.1.51 /pix/startup-config

    and tried
    write net startup-config
    Building configuration...
    Bad descriptor 'startup-config'
    [FAILED]

    I'm only able to write the startup-config to the tftp server but not the other way around.

    Anyone have any ideas?
