Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It is great news for Ed. He could be making his England debut against Ireland next week!

Cant see that happening, as the radio stations that they listen to seldom mention cricket :p

Full team... babys and bath water ahoy....

Andrew Strauss (Middlesex, captain), Ian Bell (Warwickshire), Tim Bresnan (Yorkshire), Glen Chapple (Lancashire), Paul Collingwood (Durham), Alastair Cook (Essex), James Dalrymple (Middlesex), Stephen Harmison (Durham), Geraint Jones (Kent), Ed Joyce (Middlesex), Alex Loudon (Warwickshire), Sajid Mahmood (Lancashire), Kevin Pietersen (Hampshire), Liam Plunkett (Durham), Marcus Trescothick (Somerset).

What stands out for me, is Glen Chapple! At his time of life! Side looks like nothing that was in India 3 months ago for the ODI series there.

One thing looks certain... Ed Joyce will play for England against Ireland next Tuesday.

Still having to experiment with the ODI side... only 9 months from a World Cup. Shocking state of affairs.

he was interveiwed on sky sports today about the prospect of facing ireland

Ed missed the training session at Stormount today with a stomach bug. They said on Sky that he is unlikely to play tomorrow.

I would be surprised if he didn't play though.

Big shame for Ed if he misses out, it would of been evry interesting to see him make his debut against Ireland

It's good news. England won the toss and are batting. Ed is opening. No Pieterson though.

My prediction, is Ed to score 78 and be run out by Dominic!

Ed out for ten. He tried to hook Lanky and skied it straight up in the air. Caught by Kevin O'Brien at square leg.
