Some pipe cut in the North East region, affecting phones and networks.

Thank God for Dibiweb Metro

Execpt it to be down for another few hours, its afftecing Cavan, Louth, Monaghan

Im with utv and its down in drogheda too. And I have tons of work to submit too. Trying to do it on dial up but its doing my head in:eek:

Just got callback from BT tech support.

A digger on the port tunnel cut the pipe.

All 041, 042 and some other 04 number are out.

Doesn't know when it'll be back. High priority though as it affects everyone, BT, Eircom, etc

Wonder where €ircom's redundant link through Donegal went today and the countless other times their (and the people who piggyback onto them) services have gone down over the last 6 weeks in the Dundalk area.

Well at least the wireless operators kept on working !!!!

I have never come accross a company like it to deal with, Eircom what a nightmare. The broadband has gone done in the North Louth area 6 times since Xmas. Funny thing is it is always at the weekends, usually starts on a Thursday and lasts until Monday morn. They tell you its a high priority and their crews are working on it over the weekend but strangely they can tell you on the Friday that it prob wont be back up over the weekend but will be fine on Monday morn. Then to try and get through to them to see whats up or to the complaints dept is a joke. Is this company trying to push customers away enmasse. I was considering wireless until I saw a friend running around his house trying to get a signal. Anyone know when this will be back up, theres no way it should take 3 days to repair this.
