Library Building Opening Times

Does anyone know, if the libary building is open in the evenings after the library is closed at 17:30? I need to return a book, but can't make it during the daytime and was thinking about dropping it into te outer bookdrop, if it is still open after 17:30. I asked the library, but they weren't to sure about it.

It should be, cos the Arts building would be open until 10pm, so it wouldn't make any sense to lock the Library building when the Arts building is open.

It should be. Arts block doesn't close until 9 I think? The outer bookdrop is definitely accessible after opening hours.
