Hi, feel free to move this to a more appropriate forum if there is one, but can anyone tell me how to wire a simple telephone socket? Hi, feel free to move this to a more appropriate forum if there is one, but can anyone tell me how to wire a simple telephone socket?
I'm decommissioning and ISDN box that has orange, orange stripey, blue and blue stripey wires going in. There are 2 green wires that aren't connected to anything.
The socket has internal red,black, yellow and green wires.
I'll be use trial and error, but there being .... (desperately trying to remember maths) .. lots of combinations, I may be offline for a bit.

Blue to Green, Orange to Yellow, Blue Stripy to Red, Orange Stripy to Black.
That was about as much fun as England v Paraguay.
