Flash Tutorials For Complete Beginner?

Hi, Just recently start messing around with Flash 8 Professional, and I'm finding it a bit tricky, I've done the built in tutorials and I'm now looking for some more. All the tutorials I come across seem to aimed at users with a bit of knowledge of the program, which I haven't got. Any help much appreciated.

http://www.actionscript.org/tutorials.shtml is full of tutorials for all levels

you should set yourself a project to do and learn that way instead of doing random tutorials.

Thanks for the link.

I'm looking to make one simple animation, for example a face appearing feature by feature eg. face appears first then eyes, then nose, the smile, then hair.

All at different intervals.
