    presume its just sony attempt to copy SlingMedia's slingbox which has been a great success in the US . Now coming to UK . Basically it means you can watch and contol whats on your TV from anywhere in the world via a broadband connection. More info at http://www.slingmedia.com/indexa.php .

    wierd... not much good on the go tho unless you have net connection with your phone... which is a bitch... would work nice for PSP's around the house i guess

    It's also a wireless TV transmitter for around the house. You can pick up the signal on a PSP and other wireless receivers...

    The slingbox is a great yoke altogether ... i have sucessfully setup one for transatlantic viewing but there are a few drawbacks ....

    It requires special customised client software to view programming over your network or the internet ... ( there are windows and windows mobile software clients but no mac yet AFAIK )

    Now theres no excuse for missing podge and rodge because your in different country
