When you come out of the industrial estate go straight through the roundabout and you'll see a few shops on your left after about 100 metres. Theres a bookies towards the end of that row of shops.

There is a bookies in the row of shops beside the South Court hotel.
There is a bookies beside Xtravision a couple of hundred yards before the Crescent Shopping Center.

Bookies are springing up everywhere like a horrid blight, I'd be amazed it there was a 500 meter radius in the city now that doesn't have one.

There is also a bookies beside Russell's Bar and Off licence
on the Fr. Russell Rd. unsure but I think its Bamberrys?
Which brings the total to 4 so far that I know of.

If your new to the area after recently starting work and you dont
know the area that well theres a few other spots that may be of interest
to you if your living so close to work.

Going off the topic of Bookies slightly but trying to help
    a newbie to the area.........

Besides the 4 bookies in the area

if you want a decent meal of Junk Food then
Slatterys(spelling??) Chipper up in Ballycummin Village
sells some nice grub. Its on Ballycummin drive
(most people call this road Church Rd)
Only about a hundred metres from Analog Building 7!!
its a popular spot for Analog Workers when the canteen food is not great.

Right beside this chipper is a pub clohessys bar which is popular.

Beside the bookies in Courtfield there is an off licence and Pizza Hut and
beside Fr. Russell Rd bookies theres an off Licence and chinese restarunt.
Another popular spot for me at least as soon as it turns 17:30 and I finish work. Russells bar in Fr. Russell Rd is very popular too a lot of people
that used to goto the highway pub and southcourt go there now
again a local meet up point for Analog workers before hitting the town.
Also nearly beside the bookies in Fr. Russell Rd. is Garreths Butcher.
This bloke has fantastic meat and there is sometime queues out his door
and around the corner. If your a meat eater go here, alas my cooking
skills revolve putting his fine chicken burgers on the george foreman grill.

Theres a gym in South Court and a health centre down near the
doodayoyle shopping centre with swimming pool if you need to work off the junk food. both are expensive so you may want to use the Analog Gym through the sports and social club. The ADI Gym in down in Mungret College which you can propably see if you walk out your door. ie in walking distance.

Theres a very good barber Barberellos at the bottom of Fr. Russell rd
near extravision and on top of extravision there is an Indian Restraunt,
and from what the Mrs. tells me if your female theres a
good hairdressers/beauty place beside Russells too.

So to Socialise, excercise, Gamble and get your hair down theres plently
    of facilities grouped together.

    hope this helps a bit.
