Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't know about you guys and gals but I'm not too surprised by this turn of events. I always suspeccted that Pfister's resignation was meant to be a wake-up call to the Togo F.A. in order to pressure them into giving the players their bonuses.

From the official World Cup site:
    Pfister back at the helm

Otto Pfister is to make a shock return as Togo coach just three days after walking out on the team over a dispute on unpaid bonuses.

The German’s return has yet to be confirmed by the Togolese FA, but Pfister’s son and agent, Mike, confirmed to FIFAworldcup.com that an agreement has been reached to enable his father to resume his duties with the Sparrowhawks.

“Yes, he is back as a Togo coach,” said Pfister Jnr. “It is a matter of the heart. The FA has decided to chose him against all other candidates. The players have also tried to get him back over the last days and contacted him, which was the decisive step.”
