    Hi,

Bought a packet of Oolong tea leaves from an Asian supermarket, however there are no instructions on the pack about how to brew, well none not in Chinese anyway :)
Does anyone know what to do with it, should I treat it like ordinary tea leaves and just chuck a couple of teaspoons into a pot?

    Thanks!

Or you could just put some (About half a teaspoon) in the bottom of a cup or mug and add boiling water (And nothing else).

    Was it very expensive?

you should NEVER put loose tea into BOILING water.

boil the water, then let it stand for about 2 to 3 minutes and THEN pour it over the tea

Hey, whatever works for you, But you'll have a major problem if you're going to try and convince the 4M+ tea drinkers on this Island regarding that one. But good luck with the crusade.
