Why don't you open a rant/b*tch/moan thread then? There's nothing innately unusual about those threads that make them prone to spam, that one just went in that direction. It's pointless having a woot thread with no anti-woot thread.

Anyways... my woot is that I've got what appears to be a steady job for the next few months! And I've started saving for Thailand Shouldn't be long before I'm able to buy the tickets and then it's just a matter of saving spending money! Vaccinations and insurance too, but they shouldn't put me back too much....

Woohoo I'm back in Belfield after a long absence and great news the love of my life* is now doing a postgrad here so I get to see his pretty face more often.

Not exactly a woohoo [although it probably should be] more of an aside, I don't smoke anymore. This may be only temporary though we'll see how it goes.

Woot - the Uni let me register with them this morning, despite not having a passport, a police declaration that it had been lost (these two, I can only assume, are still in Embassy hands), the letter inviting me to the Uni in the first place, OR the Leaving Cert results that I was told I NEEDED to have with me.

My definition of a successful event!

There was a tiny issue of ppl wandering outside the blue room with alcohol but the actual event went off without incident
